Donations in someone’s memory
Give hope in times of sorrow
To lose a loved one is painful for their family and friends. To share the sorrow can be one way to deal with the loss.
With a donation in someone’s memory in favour of Brava, you support the precious work of our charitable human rights organisation in in the spirit of the deceased beyond life.
How to proceed
Usually, it is best to mention your intention in the obituary: In the spirit of the deceased please remember the organisation Brava, 3014 Bern. Also, add the account number of Brava and a related keyword, for example “bereavement” and the name of the deceased person.
You can also put up a donations box or a basket and send us the collection afterwards. Or you can ask your guests beforehand to make a direct donation to us. For this, provide them with our bank details and a keyword that you shared with us beforehand (e.g. passing of Maxine XYZ). The donors would need to indicate this keyword on their bank transfer.
Donation receipt
The generous donors will receive a donation receipt, if they mention their names and full addresses in the transfer.
