Our commitment
The commitment of TERRE DES FEMMES Switzerland is illustrated by its vision, its mission statement and overall concept (see vision/guiding principle).
The main focus of our activities is on raising awareness and prevention. TERRE DES FEMMES Switzerland
- offers educational events for experts from different fields;
- gives presentations and organises information events on its issues;
- lends travelling exhibitions on female genital mutilation and trafficking in women;
- draws up expertises on gender-based persecution;
- takes a stand on draft consultation papers and legislation as well as on general socio-political issues -
- launches campaigns on its key issues;
- organises the periodic event VOIX DES FEMMES;
- networks with national and international women's organisations.
