Managing Board

The Board of TERRE DES FEMMES Switzerland works entirely on a voluntary basis.
We would be pleased to expand our Board to include committed new women who share our point of view and our commitment. If this appeals to you, please contact one of the members of our Board.

The current Board, which consists of six women, actively promotes the association's objectives. The following women work on the national Board:

• Monica Corrado, scientific adviser, Berne / on the Board sincs 2011. She studied Islamic studies and now works at the State Secretariat for Education and Research.
• Sarah Forrer, journalist, Bern / on the Board since 2010. She works as a freelance journalist.
• Edith Handschin, personnel specialist and mediator, Zurich / on the Board since 2009. After successfully completing her commercial apprenticeship, she trained to be a mediator and work in the HR Department at IBM for many years. She retired in July 2010.
• Céline Morgan, Islamicist, Beirut / on the Board since 2009. She studied Islamic studies in Bern and now works as a consultant in Beirut, Lebanon.
• Elena Obreschkow, trade union secretary, Bern / on the Board since 2009. She studied social education at the University of Bern and works for Unia as the responsible secretary for young people.
• Liana Zanin, IT expert, Zurich / on the Board since 2006. She chairs the Board this year. After completing her commercial training, the mother of two daughters trained as a computer scientist. At present, she works for IBM as an IT expert.
