Women fleeing persecution

All over the world, women are being forced to flee. Their reasons for doing so are manifold, but very often fundamentally different from those of men, because women are often the victims of personal persecution and gender-based violence such as genital mutilation, forced marriage or honour-based violence.

Women and girls also have to look for protection against persecution and violence in Switzerland.
